Velcro straps can be very useful securing all kinds of stuff around your RV. I have found the 15 inch size to perfect for about everything. I you need a shorter one just cut it to size. I don't remember how many come in a package but at least half a dozen for $5.00 from Home Depot.
Keep those extension cords under control.
Same thing goes for water hoses up to 25 feet with the 15 inch strap. You will need a bigger strap for hoses that are longer.
Here I have used it to secure a cable to one of my awning arms.
This is my 5th wheel electrical connection to my truck. Once on a very foggy morning I was stopped by another driver to tell me my trailer lights were out and he almost ran into me. I had checked my lights before leaving but somehow the plug came loose. On that occasion I fixed the problem with tape, but since then I have fitted the cable with one of those straps. That plug will never come out again when traveling.
After parking the RV this is how I secure the trailer electrical connection cable. Also just to the right you see another little red strap hold up a weed whacker.
If you have any more ideas on how to use these straps please send me an email. |
